Dedicated to the memory of Philip Canez.

Phil will always be remembered as a loving, caring soul who never had a harsh word for anyone. Always with a smile, anytime of the day, he could make you laugh, no matter how "down" you were. He left us all too suddenly and will be deeply missed by all his loved ones and many friends. Rest in Paradise, my love...until we see you again. Racing in the yard with Drew. Super Bowl Sunday 2014 We were so in love and so very happy! Our baby, Jazz! Benefit Dance and Dinner, 5-10-14 Peacefully at rest, at home. You will forever be with me, I will always Love You, baby! We will miss you, my sweet love! He will always be my love! Treasured memories. It's so hard to be without you :'( From the stories I've heard, he was a very happy baby. Phil and David, 1966 Phil, I always knew you were a cowboy at heart! 1966 Dad, David and ? 1970 My sweety, age 4, 1969 Phil on his 11th birthday with friends, 1976 School picture, age 11, 1976 And so starts the long hair. He only cut his hair twice in his lifetime. It was his trademark. 1977 Cutie! Age 10, 1975 Such a handsome young man! Age 13 Phil being Phil with Bootleggers. Tired but never stopped! Bootleggers. Phil loved and respected this lady's talent as a drummer, Michelle Pacheco. Bootleggers. Looks like James Hightower, David Mesquita, and Jaime Soto...?? Friends...sometimes. Brothers, always! Phil and his Dad Danny Abril and ? The "pose", Phil and Danny Phil's censored pose! His trademark black T-shirt! Just woke up?? Ha ha! Again with that finger! Good times with Dad! The man and his dog, Duke. Hated me always snapping pictures...lol! David, Tony Grijalva and my dad, Floyd Mcsweeny. Tata Phil with newest grandson, Andrew Floyd Orduno. This is one he would kill me for posting, but he was so relaxed at home. I miss these times the most Many good memories that I'll never forget. We will all miss you!! R.I.P. my love. This is the first thing he ever made for me, pancakes! Always got lots of surprise flowers...birthdays, Valentines, and just because. It took weeks to convince him, this is our very first picture together. He loved these guys and they loved their Tata Phil!

Walking the journey of grief, sometimes feels as though there is no relief. When you died, a part of me did too and has left me with a feeling of not knowing what to do. My mind is scattered, and I'm in disarray, but they tell me that everything will be okay. It's hard to believe the words of some when my heart tells me that day will never come. I will hold onto hope and believe it to be true and know the day will come when I will see you.
